LIfe-long equestrian, M.J. Evans, has been able to combine her passion for horses with her love of writing. She is well known for her popular equestrian trail guidebooks, the "Riding Colorado" series. She is an award-winning author of eight fiction novels for middle-grade and young adults that center around horses or horse fantasy creatures.

Judy Kundert an award-winning middle-grade novelist loves to inspire and intrigue children. For fun, she likes reading (usually three or four books at a time), watching movies from the oldies to the current films, traveling, biking, and hiking in the vast Colorado outdoors.

HEATHER SAPPENFIELD lives in a tiny log home in Vail, Colorado, where she teaches narrative writing at a school for future Olympic skiers and snowboarders. If you visit, you might find her pedaling her mountain bike along summer trails or schussing down winter slopes.
